VILAFRANCA DEL PENEDÈS

Geographical and historical capital of the Penedès, region of vineyards, wine and “cava”. Festivities and traditions are very much still alive, and such things as human towers keep on being done. In the historical nucleus it is remarkable Santa Maria Church, the Royal Palace and the Wine Museum where the history of the vineyard and the wine can be seen.

SITGES

Privileged place of the Daurada Coast, characterised for its smooth beaches, with thin and golden sand. It is a village with a great tourist, gastronomic and commercial interest. Mar i Cel, Cau Ferrat and Romàntic are three museums which should be visited.
